Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) was established in 1998 as a Joint Venture Company (JVC), with the Government of India holding a 50% share. PLL’s primary aim was to independently oversee the development of facilities for importing, storing, and converting Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
