Eicher Motors Limited (EML) is an Indian multinational automotive company headquartered in New Delhi, India. It is the flagship company of the Eicher Group and the largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India.
It was founded in 1982 by Siddhartha Lal and his father, R.C. Lal. The company started as a joint venture between the Eicher Group and the Swedish truck manufacturer Volvo.
