HDFC Bank Limited is an Indian multinational banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is the largest private sector bank in India by assets and market capitalization. The bank was founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), a leading housing finance company in India and in 2023 the bank went through a reverse merger with HDFC Ltd.

The treasury segment of the bank manages liquidity and interest rate risks, provides solutions for non-residents, deals in government securities and provides integrated trade and treasury solutions for customers. The bank has a network of over 6,000 branches and 28,000 ATMs across India.
HDFC bank also has a presence in 19 other countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore, and Dubai.
