Incorproated in 1937, CG Power and Industrial Solutions is an Indian company that provides end-to-end solutions for managing and using electrical energy for utilities, industries, and consumers. It is headquartered in Mumbai, India.

In 2020, CGPOWER acquired the electrical division of Crompton Greaves Limited. This acquisition strengthened its position in the Indian electrical equipment market. 

Business Segment

The company has two business segments: 

• Power Systems: manufactures electrical equipment for the power and industrial sectors, such as transformers, reactors, and switchgear. It also offers turnkey solutions in power distribution and generation 
• Industrial Systems: manufactures and sells power conversion equipment for a wide range of industrial applications, including medium and low voltage rotating machines, drives, and stampings

It also provides equipment and solutions to Indian railways for rolling stock, traction machines, railway propulsion control equipment, coach panels, and signalling equipment.

The company has a presence in more than 80 countries in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
