Avenue Supermarts Limited is a retail corporation that controls and manages a chain of Hypermarkets under the brand name DMart. It all began with just one store in Maharashtra. DMart, the brainchild of the value investor Mr. Radhakishan Damani, took its inception in the year 2000.


DMart is a supermarket chain known for its diverse product range, focusing on food, non-food fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), general merchandise, and apparel. Their food products include groceries, staples, processed foods, dairy products, frozen items, beverages, confectionery, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables.


Under non-foods fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) products sold are home care products, personal care products, toiletries, and other over-the-counter products. The products under general merchandise & apparel are bed & bath, toys & games, crockery, plastic goods, garments, footwear, utensils, and home appliances.


It has its presence in states such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. Its subsidiaries include, Align Retail Trades Private Limited, Avenue Food Plaza Private Limited, Avenue E-Commerce Limited, Nahar Seth & Jogani Private Limited and Reflect Healthcare and Retail Private Limited.
