Why was my pledge request not accepted?
Your pledge request may be rejected if:
- You haven’t given the CDSL authorization to facilitate pledging the shares. Once you place a pledge request, you must authorize CDSL to verify your ownership of the shares which enables their transfer from your demat account to a pledge account.
- We haven’t received a confirmation from CDSL for your authorization or the status of the underlying shares. This could be due to technical issues or discrepancies in the data related to your request.
In these cases, please try raising the pledge request again after some time or reach out to us for help.
