How is my available balance for withdrawal calculated?

The withdrawal amount is calculated after accounting for today’s realized and unrealized losses or profits, and any margin used from your opening balance.

The amount you can withdraw from your trading account to your bank account does not include the following like money you’ve added today, proceeds from today’s you may have sold, profits or MTM from futures & options squared off today and Profit from the trading, etc.

Example:

Opening Balance: ₹50,000

Money added today: ₹10,000 (not eligible for withdrawal)

Sales proceeds from today’s holdings: ₹20,000 (not eligible for withdrawal until settlement)

Realized losses today: ₹5,000

Margin used: ₹15,000

Withdrawal Amount: ₹50,000 (opening balance) – ₹5,000 (realized losses) – ₹15,000 (margin used) – Charges if any = ₹30,000

Important: Profits earned cannot be withdrawn on the same day but can be withdrawn once they are realized on the next trading day.

Note: When you request a withdrawal, we set aside that amount and mark it as ‘Reserved for Withdrawals,’. If you want to use the funds for trading, you can cancel the withdrawal request.
