Market Highlights
Vardhman Textiles, among other textile stocks, surged after the U.S. announced tariff hikes. India’s 26% tariff is lower than those on key competitors like Bangladesh and Vietnam, giving Indian exporters like Vardhman a relative edge.
Tejas Networks surged after reports of BSNL receiving ₹61,000 crore worth of 5G spectrum. As a key supplier of 4G/5G equipment to BSNL, Tejas is seen as a major beneficiary of the upcoming rollout.
IPCA Labs, among other pharma companies, rose after the U.S. left Indian pharma exports out of new tariff hikes. The move eased concerns for drugmakers with high U.S. exposure.
